Super Easy Homemade Guacamole - 2 Ways

The Sweet Life

Chips and guacamole, such a classic and irresistible combination. The creamy richness of avocado with a delightful tease of citrus and fresh cilantro, paired with the salty crunch of a simple but delicious tortilla chip transports you right to Mexico. You grab your beach chair, your sun hat, and all you need now is a margarita and you’re set for life…ahhh….

*Snaps back to reality*

Okay, in reality, I am sitting here staring out the window, watching the rain pour (thanks, Seattle), and dreaming about the beaches in Mexico while I eat some chips and guac and write this blog post about guacamole. Not quite as dreamy, I know.

But, the good news is that when you can’t make it down to Mexico for the true authentic chips and guacamole experience, you can make it yourself at home and get a little taste of that sweet beach life.

Nothing Fancy

Guacamole can be SUPER easy and simple, it doesn’t have to be anything fancy at all to give you the satisfaction that your favorite restaurant version provides. Plus, it’s likely healthier when you make it at home too - you can control the quality of the ingredients you choose, how much salt goes into it, avoid additives, and eat it when it’s nice and fresh. Not to mention, you’ll save a few bucks as well!
